Football Men's Basketball Women's Basketball Wrestling
In an effort to meet our financial obligations in the years ahead and remain competitive within the Big Ten Conference and nationally, the UI Department of Intercollegiate Athletics in 2006 instituted a change in the method by which season ticket holders to home games of the UI football program are assigned their seat locations - the Priority Points System. With the renovations of Carver-Hawkeye Arena, the Priority Points System was put in place for men's and women's basketball and wrestling beginning with the 2011-2012 season.
In keeping with the spirit of Hawkeye loyalty and in recognition of the generosity of those who are helping the Hawkeyes each year, the UI Department of Intercollegiate Athletics developed a priority points system that is fair, orderly and include Hawkeye fans in the process of selecting their football, men's and women's basketball, and wrestling season ticket locations.
The Priority Points System quantifies every I-Club member's and season ticket holder's relationship with UI Athletics by considering a number of different criteria, including giving to athletics, years of season ticket purchase, and alumni/letterwinner status. Your priority points help the Athletic Ticket Office determine seating upgrades for season tickets, away game ticket allocations, post season ticket allocations, bowl game ticket allocations, and other athletic considerations.
